Thanks for early retirement
With thanks to [my Genistar rep] and his guidance and advice over 30 years ago, I did achieve early retirement at the age of 54 having paid into a private pension as soon as I started working when I was 22. Although I focused on paying off my mortgage and stopped the contributions after 10 years, the fund grew and grew and when I was facing problems at work a look at my finances showed I could in fact walk away and stop working 6 years ahead of schedule. Can't fault early financial planning and also keeping an eye on your products. While it means little when you get the annual statements, come turning 50 and starting to think about retirement any extra you can put aside earlier and let it grow and grow is such a wise way to live. Forget the handbag and shoes, flash car, etc. put that money into a pension or savings account, etc. as you'll certainly get much more out of it than things. Thanks again...
